Construction. Almost every Maggie Sottero gown has real corsetry built into the bodice, which is why it holds its shape through a ceremony, a receiving line, a sit-down meal and a dance floor. A gown that looks beautiful on a hanger and gives up by seven o'clock is a very common disappointment, and this is the collection we trust least to do that.

It also means the gowns support you rather than the other way round. Brides who have worried about strapless styles are often surprised by how secure these feel.

The shapes we stock

Our Maggie Sottero rail leans towards basque waists, fishtails and ballgowns, with a run of A-line styles and several with sleeves. The basque waistline is worth trying even if you have not considered it: it drops to a V at the front and lengthens the body in a way a straight waist seam does not, and it works across far more shapes than people expect.

Maggie Sottero asks its stockists not to publish prices for individual gowns, so you will see 'enquire for price' against these styles rather than a number. We are not being coy. Ring us or ask at your appointment and we will tell you straight away, and we will tell you before you try anything on so nothing is awkward.

Trying one on in Cleveleys

You will find us at 112 Victoria Road West in Cleveleys, a short drive from Blackpool, Fleetwood and Thornton, with parking nearby. Appointments are one bride at a time, by arrangement, Tuesday to Saturday.

There is no hard sell in the diary. If nothing here is right we would rather tell you and point you somewhere else than talk you into a dress you will think about for the wrong reasons.
