What actually happens at an appointment
Ninety minutes, the fitting suite to yourselves, and either Brittany or Gill with you the whole time.
We start by talking rather than pulling gowns. Where you are marrying, the time of year, what you have already tried, and what you are quietly worried about. Lytham and St Annes brides often have a formal venue in mind, a hotel on the front or one of the halls inland, and a formal room asks something different of a gown than a barn does. It is worth telling us which before we pull anything.
Then four or five to begin with, not twenty. You get into them properly, with clips and padding so you see the real shape rather than imagining it, and we say honestly what each one is doing for you.
There is no obligation and no pressure to decide on the day.

Gowns are made to order and generally take six to eight months, with about two months for alterations after that. Nine to twelve months before the wedding is the comfortable window for a first appointment.
If your date is closer, say so when you book. Rush orders exist with most designers and the outlet rail carries one-off samples you can take away the same day.

How far is Cleveleys from Lytham St Annes?
