Privacy
Your information, and what we do with it
We are a small family boutique, not a marketing company. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell anything to anybody, and this page tells you plainly what happens to the things you share with us.
Who we are
Bridal by Brittany Ann, 112 Victoria Road West, Cleveleys, Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire FY5 3LG. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. If you want to ask anything, or you want your information deleted, email info@brittanyannbridal.co.uk or call 01253 857313 and we will sort it out.
The AI try-on, in plain terms
This is the part most people want to know about, so it goes first.
If you choose to use the virtual try-on, you upload a photo of yourself. Here is exactly what happens to it:
- Your browser makes the photo smaller, then sends it over an encrypted connection to our website, which passes it straight to our AI styling partner, FASHN AI, together with the photograph of the gown.
- FASHN generates the preview and sends it back. The preview appears on your screen. That is the whole journey, and it takes a few seconds.
- We never save your photo. It is not written to our database, it is not stored on our website, and nobody at the boutique sees it unless you choose to show us.
- It is never used for advertising, never added to a mailing list, and never shown to another customer.
- We do not use it to train anything. FASHN process the image to create your preview and handle it under their own privacy terms, which you can read at fashn.ai/privacy.
Because a photograph of you is personal information, we ask you to tick a box before you upload. That tick is your consent, and you can simply not tick it. Nothing else on the site depends on it, and you are always welcome to come and try the real dress on instead, which is rather the point of us.
Our lawful basis for handling your photo is your consent. If you change your mind, close the window and it goes no further. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing left for us to delete.
Booking an appointment
Appointments are booked through our booking system, Bridal Live, which opens in a new tab. The details you type there, such as your name, email address, phone number and wedding date, are held by that system so that we know to expect you. We use them to run your appointment and to contact you about it. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.
Getting in touch
If you email, call or message us on social media, we keep that conversation so we can help you properly, and no longer than we need it.
Measuring how the site is used
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. It tells us things like how many people looked at the collection this week. It does not tell us who you are, and it does not follow you around the internet. That is also why this site does not nag you with a cookie banner: it does not set advertising cookies in the first place.
Photographs of gowns
The gown photographs on this site are hosted by Supabase, our website's storage provider, on servers in the European Union.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@brittanyannbridal.co.uk and we will respond within a month. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page. Last updated 30 July 2026.
